Stobox vs Securitize
These two do genuinely different jobs. Securitize is the regulated infrastructure under the largest tokenized funds in the market. Stobox takes a private company from unready to organized, raised and issued. If you are a fund with counsel already in place, this comparison is not close, and it does not favour us.

The verdict, up front
Choose Securitize if you are an institutional asset manager tokenizing a fund. It is the category leader by a wide margin: a vertically integrated regulated group with its own SEC transfer agent, FINRA broker-dealer, alternative trading system and fund administration, NYSE-listed since July 2026, with BlackRock, Apollo, KKR and Hamilton Lane as clients. Nothing in our stack competes with that.
Choose Stobox if you are a private company or asset owner and the problem starts earlier: you are not yet structured, the record of your company lives in heads and chats, and you need someone to organize it, prepare the raise and issue the token on published flat fees. That is the part Securitize assumes you arrive with.

Where Securitize genuinely wins
Regulated depth nobody else has
A transfer agent, a broker-dealer, an ATS and a fund administrator under one roof, all SEC-registered. If your mandate requires that, the conversation ends here.
Institutional proof
$4.3B tokenized and the largest asset managers in the world as named clients. That is not a marketing number, it is in their filings.
Public-company disclosure
NYSE-listed since July 2026, which means their numbers are audited and you can read them. Ours are not.
Where Stobox wins
The part before issuance
Securitize assumes you arrive structured. Most private companies do not. Intelligence scores the company and says what has to be true before anyone's counsel finds out for you.
A published price
You can read what we charge without a sales call. There is no public Securitize fee schedule.
Sized for a private company
Their world starts at institutional scale. Ours starts free.

Questions this raises
Answered plainly.
Is Securitize custodial?
No. Its own investor materials say holders can keep tokens in self-custody wallets in their own name. Wallets have to be whitelisted by the transfer agent before a transfer clears, which is a compliance control rather than custody. An earlier version of this page said otherwise and was wrong.
What does BUIDL have to do with Securitize?
BUIDL is BlackRock's fund. Securitize is its tokenization and transfer agent. The $5M minimum and the 0.20% to 0.50% management fee are BlackRock's terms on that fund, not Securitize's charges.
Can Stobox do what Securitize does for a fund?
Not at that scale, and we would not pitch it. For an institutional fund with counsel and administration already in place, Securitize is the better answer.
